Alan S. Nasar, MD

Orthopedic Surgeon

Dr. Nasar is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering at The Cooper Union in New York City and his MD at UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School (now Rutgers). He completed his internship and orthopedic surgery residency at SUNY Stony Brook University Hospital, and participated in a fellowship program in joint replacement surgery at Desert Orthopaedic Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

He served as Chair of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold, NJ from 2013 to 2024. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the New Jersey Orthopaedic Society, the Medical Society of New Jersey and the Monmouth County Medical Society. Dr. Nasar joined Medico-Legal Evaluations in 2015 and is its President.
