Dr. Valimahomed is internationally known for his expertise in innovative treatments for spinal pain. He is a spine and musculoskeletal specialist, dual board certified in Pain Medicine and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He earned his BA at Siena College and his MD at Albany Medical College, completed his internship at New York Medical College (Westchester Medical Center) and his residency at Columbia University Medical Center and Weill Cornell Medicine (NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital), and completed an ACGME Pain Medicine fellowship at Harvard Medical School (Brigham and Women's Hospital). He received additional training in cancer pain at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

His practice in Freehold, NJ includes interventional spine and pain procedures, nerve blocks, neuromodulation and minimally invasive spine surgery. He serves on the boards of the World Association of Pain Medicine United and the American Society of Pain and Neuroscience, and as Director at Large of the New Jersey Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. He has privileges at CentraState Medical Center and Riverview Medical Center. He joined Medico-Legal Evaluations in 2024.
